Suna Khanum's petition, 1928
Suna Khanum, the daughter of ‘Ali from Harzand-i Jadid (Marand), writes to Ayat Allah Aqa Mirza Sadiq Mujtahid describing how Shahbaz took her from the springs at the house of Mulla Muhammad Hasan from Harzand with the aid of Jahangir, the resident of Harzand-i Jadid, and how, after a day of detention and threats, they drafted a marriage contract without her consent. She further states that the police have been harassing her to marry Shahbaz for almost a year. She petitions the Mujtahid to seek an inquiry about her case.

Mirza ‘Abd al-Husayn's petition about his wife's escape, 1927
Mirza ‘Abd al-Husayn the tailor writes to Hujjat al-Islam Mirza Sadiq Aqa Mujtahid regarding the deception of his wife by Haji Shaykh Hasan and Ja‘far, mentioning that his last petition had led to the woman's arrest, but Haji Shaykh fled off with her and forged a marriage contract with the help of Ja‘far. The writer asks for the capture of Haji Shaykh Hasan and his punishment according to Shari‘a law.

Petition by Mulla Karim's wife
Petition by the wife of Mulla Karim ‘Attar (herbalist) from Marand to Hujjat al-Islam regarding Shaykh Manaf, who had deprived the wife of Mulla Karim's brother from her mahr and rights, demanding that she should have proof of marriage while they had been married for 40 or 50 years. After Mulla Karim's death, Shaykh Manaf also deprived his wife, the petitioner, from her rights and assigned Dadashi from Huchqan as the guardian of her underage daughter. Then, they divided the child's share of inheritance between themselves.
